Kuba Carpet come from Democratic Republic of Congo. It's hand-made from raphia palm and a real oeuvre d' art. Kuba It involves a laborious process which involves weaving, embroidery, applique, patchwork and dye. Kuba cloth can take between a month to 2 years to complete. Some were originally used as currency, whilst others were used as clothing (skirts) for ceremonial occasions and court rituals. Kuba cloth is a true collector's item and will make absolutely stunning decor in a home or business.
